Lieutenant Colonel (ret.)Sławomir Kożuch

A graduate of the Higher Officer School in Wrocław, which he completed with honors, receiving the WSO commander's silver ring. He gained his military experience in the 18th Bielsko Airborne Battalion, rising from platoon commander to battalion commander.

A veteran of operations abroad, repeatedly decorated for his services, including with the Medal of the President of the Republic of Poland. Parachutist, shooting and tactical operations instructor. Creator, founder, and first commander of the 131st Light Infantry Battalion of the Territorial Defense Force in Gliwice and the 133rd Light Infantry Battalion of the Territorial Defense Force in Cieszyn, as well as Chief of Staff of the 13th Silesian Brigade of the Territorial Defense Force.

In addition to his military education, he holds a master's degree in pedagogy and has completed postgraduate studies in public safety and crisis management as well as in education management. He is a certified personal trainer, swimming instructor, and district-level swimming referee, motorboat helmsman, and A3-class drone operator.

In his spare time, he enjoys long-distance running (winner of the Silesian Half Marathon Crown and the Polish Half Marathon Crown), obstacle course racing (winner of the Runmageddon Crown and Runmageddon Veteran), as well as hiking, traveling, and spending time with his family. A tireless teacher and educator who believes in the principle of "Always behind me, never ahead."
