We invite students in uniformed services programs to participate in a specialized course on piloting and operating unmanned multi-rotor aircraft (UAVs).
The project is being carried out as part of the “National Defense and the Activities of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland” competition.
As part of the project, 120 cadets will be trained. Twelve training groups will be formed, with a maximum of 10 participants in each group.
Modern Technologies in the Service of Safety
Unmanned aerial vehicles are being used more and more widely in security operations, reconnaissance, terrain surveillance, and emergency response.
The course was designed for students in uniformed services classes who want to gain practical skills in operating drones and learn about their potential applications in national defense and security operations.
Each course consists of 21 class hours, each lasting 45 minutes, and combines theoretical instruction with intensive practical training.
The program covers preparation for UAV pilot training, the basics of operating unmanned aerial vehicles, conducting reconnaissance missions, and working as part of a UAV unit.
Participants will learn, among other things, safety rules, flight regulations, how to operate a flight controller, takeoff and landing techniques, basic aerial maneuvers, and the potential uses of UAVs in reconnaissance and surveillance operations.
First and foremost, practice
Practical classes make up a significant part of the course.
The cadets will perform tasks as pilots and navigators, conduct reconnaissance flights, observe designated targets and areas, and hone their teamwork skills within the UAV section.
Participants will learn not only how to operate an unmanned aerial vehicle, but also how to plan and carry out simple tasks, properly assign responsibilities, and coordinate among several teams while working on a joint task.
The course is designed to provide participants with practical experience that may be useful in their further education, professional development, and when engaging in activities related to the military, security, emergency response, or modern technologies.
Project Objective
The goal of the project is to develop practical skills among young people and to increase their interest in modern technologies used in national defense and security.
The project is also intended to foster civic-mindedness, responsibility, cooperation, discipline, and teamwork skills among young people.
Another key element of the project is promoting a positive image of the Polish Army and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland, as well as showcasing defense and security as an attractive field for further educational and professional development.
Who can participate?
The training is intended for students in uniformed services programs who are interested in modern technologies, drones, and their use in security and defense operations.
A total of 120 cadets can participate in the project.
Participants will be divided into 12 groups of up to 10 people each.
Due to the practical nature of the training, the number of spots in each group is strictly limited.
Training Dates
The training sessions will be held:
from September 15 to December 31, 2026
Individual groups will be launched according to the schedule set by the Organizer.
After registering, participants will be assigned to the appropriate training group and notified of the class schedule.
Recruitment of Participants
Recruitment begins on:
September 1, 2026
and will last:
through October 31, 2026, or until all spots are filled.
Due to the limited number of participants, eligibility to participate in the project depends on the availability of spots in each group.
There are only 120 spots available in total—a maximum of 10 people per training group.
