ABOUT USGET TO KNOW OUR ASSOCIATION

WHO ARE WE?
The Poland-World Association was established in 1998 in Bielsko-Biała.

It is a social organization formed by an interdisciplinary team working for education, with particular emphasis on the role of culture, sports, and tourism, as well as the promotion of a healthy lifestyle.

The implementation of publicly funded projects plays the most important role in the Association's daily activities. These projects, which vary in theme and scope, are designed to promote and support positive role models among young people in relation to active lifestyles, pro-defense attitudes, and integration at the local and sub-local levels.

ACTIVITIES OF THE ASSOCIATION
The strong bond between Poland and Poles with the supranational environment is our core value.

That is why we are taking steps to integrate Polish and foreign institutions in the exchange of experiences and promotion of achievements, with particular emphasis on Polish diaspora institutions. We pay special attention to preserving national traditions, cultivating Polish identity, and developing national, civic, and cultural awareness.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?
We specialize in comprehensive leisure activities for children and young people, including programs that promote knowledge and professional skills, as well as specialized training, e.g., rescue and sailing qualifications, defense courses, first aid, and even operating unmanned vessels.

We also work to promote modern forms and methods of teaching in these areas, collaborating with secondary and primary schools. We holistically support the development of young people by improving their hard skills (sports, defense, IT, communications, water and air equipment operation) and soft skills (communication, self-presentation, sensitivity to the environment, empathy, willingness to help, charity work).

The association has been cooperating with the Ministry of National Defense for over 25 years, organizing, among other things, sports and defense competitions, summer training camps for young people called "Ekspedycja Orląt" (Eaglets Expedition), which have been attended free of charge by several hundred of the best military school students from all over Poland.
