A staff aspirant, he served in the police for 42 years until his retirement. At that time, he was a member of a special task force dealing with, among other things, the search for perpetrators of murders and the fight against drug crime in the then Bielsko Province and today's Silesia Province. From 1990, he trained police officers and security guards in a group of sports instructors at the Provincial Police Headquarters in Katowice.

He was a judo competitor and multiple Polish police champion, both individually and as part of a team. He was a medalist in the Silesian Judo Championships in the under 100 kg weight class and also competed in the decathlon. He is a recreation and sports instructor specializing in self-defense and judo, has pyrotechnic qualifications, and has completed a third-degree mountaineering course. For 17 years, he was involved in the Beskid Scout Troop as deputy commander for programming.

At the Polska-Świat Association, she oversees the organization of sports activities and conducts self-defense courses. She prefers to spend her free time actively with her granddaughters.
